[see: Preferred Learning Styles Guide]

This document provides a 16-question self-test to identify your personal learning style. This, they claim, will help you define specific objectives and activities that will improve your learning effectiveness.

Effective learning takes place in cycles that involve thinking and performing activities in abstract and real world scenarios. Understanding preferences in relation to the learning cycle enables weaknesses to be identified and strategies to be developed to enhance learning effectiveness.

They identify four main learning styles:
1. creator (me)
2. experimenter
3. implementer
4. researcher (me)

Note:
Researcher - This person likes significant, meaningful learning experiences with space between learning periods for reflection and development of insights.
**This may be a learning style which appreciates the reflective element of the weblog**

These guys cite Kolb (1984) Experiential Learning, and Silver & Hanson (1994) A Learning Style Inventory for Adults. I am interested to know which of these references is responcible for these 4 learning styles.
