Hypothesis

Tentative proposition which is subject to verification through subsequent investigation. Is there an existence of relationship between variables? What might be true? The exposed to criticism.

1. hypothesis is postulated: reflective learning styles show preference for weblogs
2. hypothesis is tested: learning styles inventory vs do you like weblogs?

Collecting everything in sight in the hope that some pattern will emerge is not recommended.

Think about what is and what isn't worth investigating, and how the investigation will be conducted. Identify exactly what you plan to do at the outset.
