Life Library

[see: Exbiblio]

Nice idea. This is a little about the Exbiblio Project

1. you only need 6-8 words from a document to identify it as unique

2. build a system based on a small pocket-sized scanner that can capture a few words

3. build a Life Library - a record of everything you scan, with time-stamps, surrounding context, and further information, presented in a weblog type format. Can be used for personal use, or for public consumption.

4. small scanner on your keyring, roughly the size of a USB flash drive, hold it like a highlighter pen

5. scan the bits you find interesting.
